This isn't going to be just another train show.
Again, The Craftsman Structure Show is taking place at The Grand Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Mansfield/Foxboro Massachusetts. In addition to the wonderful convention facilities, the hotel features over sized rooms and suites, a beautiful indoor atrium courtyard with restaurants, pubs/bars, a state of the art fitness center, jacuzzis, saunas, an indoor pool and more. A very limited number of special room rates have been negotiated with the hotel. The area around the show offers something for everyone in the family, from the largest outlet shopping mall on the east coast, Wrentham Village Premium Outlets, to the largest casino's in the world, Foxwoods, & Mohegan Sun! Boston, Providence, Cape Cod, & Newport, RI. are all within easy driving distance.
The 2008 Craftsman Structure Show will feature a three-day manufacturer/dealer show. Attendees may purchase kits, supplies, scratchbuilding materials, detail parts, etc... at the show. All items for sale will relate to craftsman structure building. There will be no locomotives, rolling stock or white elephant tables at the show. All the manufacturers and dealers in attendance are there by invitation only.
We will sponsor several structure contests open to all attendees. Contests will be voted on by CSS08 attendees.
